This solo by Alex Skolnick is one of the musical highlights of the night. It still gives me the chills after hearing it so many times. This was filmed from the 13th row at the Nassau Coliseum with a Panasonic FZ28. The original studio version can be found on TSO's Christmas Eve and Other Stories. It is still magical and emotional, but not quite as wild.

how do you program these things? I just moved into a house that has 4 of these things for lighting all around the house. I pressed the buttons up and down on the transformers and now the lights won't turn off. Is there a factory reset?

9:28 Very Nice! There are many reasons why people choose to hire landscape lighting specialists, and aesthetics is usually not one of them (but it should be). Most people hire pros to install because MOST people are afraid of electricity, and because it seems like difficult work with lots of potential for mistakes. The first 10 of these I did presented a variety of unforseen problems, BUT, practice makes perfect. This guy has created a BEAUTIFUL outdoor lighting scheme for this house. There are some people who decide to do the install on their own - usually their end result looks very amateurish. The typical DIYer will run into problem after problem, especially with the digging and measuring. This is likely because it takes some experience before the issue of power degradation is fully understood. They end up having to dig new trenches, cut and splice their wire runs over and over, and they end up having some lights being noticeably dimmer than others. It ends up being a mess, and lots of times lights end up in different places than originally planned. Opting for cheaper brands, or being sloppy with burying connections that are not properly protected can result in some lights flickering as well, and that does not look good at all - it looks tacky. Respecting the capacity of the transformer is also very important. Still, after all of these very valid reasons why people SHOULD hire a professional to install landscape lighting, the #1 Reason is aesthetic beauty / artistic design. Watching hundreds of these kinds of videos on RUclips can make you feel like an expert, however, it's not until you get real hands-on experience that you encounter any one of thousands of issues that can and do arise. It's just not something you want to go cheap on. If Doing-It-Yourself is a hobby, fine, but if you're DIYing to save money, it's GOING to cost you more in the end. People use plastic lights instead of aluminum or painted brass - they get what they pay for = something fragile without durability and a cheap look. It doesn't make good sense for a beautiful, expensive home to be lit by an amateur, or by cheap, off-brand lights/transformers/equipment. The end result will suffer 99% of the time, then there is no telling how long it will be before one or more of the lights ends up becoming dimmer than the others, or clouded by moisture, or simply stop working properly. You get what you pay for, and pros know the effects of every type of light. It's better to hire professionals who won't have to work on a trial & error basis, hoping to achieve something that looks halfway decent. This is exactly what happens to DIYers in this field of expertise - they are experts! Now, I'm not sure if this man is a professional or not, but he does seem to have some experience in exterior illumination. He also seems to have a good understanding of which lights do what, correct spacing, how to wash an area with light, and a good feel for artistic design. He also whispers when he speaks, making sure his secrets are well kept. He is successful in putting his viewers to sleep with his soothing whispers, furthering the chances that his secrets won't be revealed. Studies have shown that whisper-talkers are naturally gifted in artistic design, as well as electrical engineering. Sadly, whisper-talkers rarely live to see the age of 91, making them the shortest-lived of all specialty-talkers. 😢

Man! I was kind of fearful because I just ordered one from AMZ and your comments on not being able to set it straight. Well, I just received mine and litteraly, no more than 20 minutes and I have my NEW set super cool and solid with 3 air toms. No problem AT ALL on getting it aligned and even. What I suggest is DO NOT tighten the screws until onced the whole structure is set... everything tends to fall in place this way very easy. The part of the legs that connects to the "foots", have them set one tick forward from the vertical so that way, the rounded legs will first go foward and then with the ccurve, they will stay VERTICAL and aligned. Another suggestion is, wash your hands to not leave it all fingerprinted, and to not have any kind of grease on the hands for the clamps to grab firmly. I just ordered more multi clamps and I am thinking of adding more parts.

ADJUSTABLE ANGLE CLAMPS are needed for many/most applications. The main cross tube needs leveled over the center of the bass drum. Gibraltar SHOULD give adjustable angle T-Clamps where the wings mount, so you can put them at whatever angle you'd like - at whatever height you'd like. The curved tubes can be an ass-kicker unless you have adjustable angle clamps.

The reason that works so well is the top layer. It blocks the heat from going out the flue and forces the heat into the room from the other layers Great idea! I am about to build a heat exchanger with a small 3000 rpm squirrel cage motor in my fireplace. I was a Brick mason for 40 years and really the best most efficient approach is an insert, but they are expensive and rust out. Plus you can't watch an open fire as well and that's half of it. I will have less than a hundred dollars in this, the motor being $65.00. It will blow out a 900 sq ft room and hopefully help heat the back rooms.
